That means your dealer FINALLY got an allocation for August and your order took up one of them! Congrats! Just so you know, I went to D status on June 5th, and my order still as of today sits in D status. The guy I talked to at the Chrysler Customer Center said that the build plans for the next week or 2 come out this coming Monday so I'm hoping my order goes into D1 Status. Otherwise my order has been in D status for 2 months so far. So its gotta be getting close to going to D1 status.
Once it goes to D1 status then I'm going to purchase some Goodyear Assurance Triple-tread tires for my Caliber. Those are about the best tires you can get for the Caliber's 17" Aluminum rims.

Wow, 14 frickin weeks sitting in BG/BX status, so much for wanting to enjoy a new car for the summer...the really sad part about all this is the fact my $2200 wheel package were purchased with the intent of only using them in the summer months. Custom rims + Minnesota road salt = wear/tear/uglieness, no thank you!

My dealer told me they had allocation for the past two months for Calibers! THey told me for the month of June they had 8, for the month of July 9, and now for August 14. Right now I don't know who or waht to believe...

I ordered in late April (I think the 26th).
I recieved an invoice that shows my caliber was finished being built July 26th. Now all I have to do is wait for it to be shipped. I do not have my hopes up.

Where are you located? Depending on your location, I would guess at least a two week time frame of shipment to your dealership. I'd say the two weeks would be a reasonable amount of time, depending on it shipped via rail or truck.

As much as I don't believe Chryslers Customer Center, they told me my estimated build plan was OCTOBER now! It went from July, to August and now to October? I tell you what, I'll grab something else on the lot before then. I will NOT wait until October to get a car I ordered in May!

I got the same thing today. I'd been given estimated build dates of August 14 and August 22 last week. Today when I called, I was told October 12. [:@] Called my salesman and left a message stating I want some answers about what the "problem" is with this car. I'll let you know what, if anything, I hear.
Our cars are very similiar. I got the heated front seats and engine block heater, but no sat radio, otherwise from what's listed in your signature, they are identical. I was assuming it was going to be one of those two parts that was the issue but since, it doesn't appear you ordered those, I'm at a loss.
