Default speaker size?

hey everyone. i was wondering if anyone knows what size speakers come on a stock caliber sxt. my girlfriend bought one and she didnt get the musicgate system and the speakers seem to cut out at volume 23+ and we were going to look into getting new speakers and an amp. good idea?

also. do you think there is any way that it would be covered under warranty to get the speakers fixed? i was talking to another guy about it because his caliber did it and he took his in for a recall and mentioned to them about his speakers and i guess they might do a recall on them.

I replaced my front speakers with a pair of Eclipse SE8495. IMO DO NOT get these speakers. The high end on these speakers is so harsh, it's annoying. There is a 'sweet spot' projected from the right speaker where the highs hit me directly in my right ear that is very irritating. I've tried to EQ it out but that doesn't work. What's amazing is, if I move my head just slightly towards the left or the right while seated in the driver's seat, the harshness goes away. Not sure what to do. I'll probably move the Eclipses to the back doors and get a different pair for the fronts.
