Noise when car is off
I have noticed that when I turn my Caliber off that there is a constant clicking noise. After a few minutes it stops, does anyone know what this noise would be from?
This is the Caliber Click and from what I can gather, it's caused by a resonator problem in the exhaust
I have it on mine too, it's a common problem however the only way to cure it is to have the exhaust replaced
Mine is going to be checked over at the dealers tomorrow morning, I'll let you know what they say!!

Not much to report really - They've said that they're going to contact Chrysler and keep me informed
I've told them I want a replacement but they won't do it until they know it will cure the problem.
Have you spoken to your dealer about your Caliber?

I have the same noise. I think it is normal. Most cars do a similiar thing. I had an old pontiac sunbird GT before that did the same thing and I swear sometime you can hear like the gas in the tank still moving back and forth after the car was off.
I ordered my Caliber SXT April 5/06 however it was not built until June 22/06 and I picked it up August 15/06,I think it may have been a good thing regarding build date as I have had only one minor problem with the coolzone door.
I have no pings, clicks or creaks to date, knock on wood.
