Default Wiper control

I've had my caliber for coming up on 3 months, and haven't driven much in the rain, and when I have the slower speeds were fine, and I've rarely used the continuous speed, let alone fast. Well, the fast doesn't work at all, it stops in the middle of the windshield. I took it in to get checked out, and they needed to order the part. Well, I took it back today, they replaced the "bad" part, and guess what. It still don't work.

So next week, they get my car for a day, to diagnose the problem, and I get a rental. Anyone else had this wiper problem?

I haven't had to use my wipers yet and I don't drive my car in the rain if I don't have to. I live on a dirt road so it would get very crappy looking in a hurry going down the hill.

I havent had a problem yet, though I had to test the fastest speed in a downpour here and it doesnt seem to go fast enough.

I have used the wipers on highest speed without problems,I would think if they do not seem to be
fast enough for clearing in a downpour you might have a problem either with the wipers or your
your decision not to slowdown or pull off for safety sake.

Welp, I took my car in this morning at 8am, and at 4pm I get a call saying it's the Instrument Cluster that's bad. And since everything in my dash including my milage goes through that they don't want to give me my car until it's replaced. So they're replacing my instrument too, so for now I'm stuck with this cheap neon as a rental.

Speaking of which, I would like to say that the Dodge Neon is an incredibly cheap vehicle and the driver's seat is more uncomfortable than airline seats. My back is still acheing from that thing. Oh ya, and I'm paying $4200 a year in car insurance and my insurance policy doesn't transfer over onto the rental simply because I'm 19, so I'm shelling out an extra $15 a day for insurance through the rental company. Rental cars/companies suck, but at least the parts, labor and the rental car inself are covered through the warranty.

w00t! Got my car back last night. All seems good, and after having to drive that neon, I love my Caliber more than ever.
