I bought a caliber for my wife 3 weeks ago and she got 5 free oil changes with the purchase.

According to the Purolator website, the filter number is L12222. That will be the big number on the box. My auto parts places catalogs only go up to 2006.

We just bought a 2008 Caliber SXT, and I bought an oil filter from Dodge - part M4892339. Mobil 1 oil & filters are on sale at Canadian Tire, and the book there says M1-210 . The Mobil 1 filter is a bit larger than the stock one, can they both be right ??

I am no help here. My dealer has done my oil changes since day one. It's cheap and I don't have to get dirty

Maybe someone else can answer the filter question. As long as the threads and gasket are the same side, it should work.
