It sounds nice, but it would probably void your warranty if you did that.

these cars were built for gas mileage, if you want more maybe you should buy the charger.

Well these cars may be built for gas milage, but if you run em hard enough for the first 5000 km durring the computers learning phase they learn to eat gas and spit raw power. My 1.8L dusts off most 6 cyl sedans if you drive it to the performance specs in the owners manual. And guess whats even better, if you blow the engine its covered by the warrenty because of the specs being in the owner manual. God bless the Mitsubishi motors for they're contribution to the design of a well built, high output 1.8L world engine.

LOL!

all information above is mostly true, but seriously come on an electric turbo thats horse ****.

*pisses on the e-bay page*

You could plugin a hair dryer into your cigarette lighter and hold it in front of your intake and get the same effect.

hi .. in England here, most of the few Calis sold in UK so far are diesel, we only have 2 petrol engine optionsover here, the 1.8 and the 2.0 ...... no 2.4's or awd ...... only front wheel drive ,

i test drove both the petrols, 1.8 waffles along, the 2.0 in auto form is better, but still lacks the power you would expect,

i bought the diesel ....... its a 2.0ltrturbocharged VW engine, coupled to a 6 speed manual box, ..... 0 - 60 in under 9 seconds, and you floor it in second and third, the front of the car lifts and you hang on.

its not the most refined car I've ever owned, but its certainly the most fun to drive, and if you switch of the ESP and play in boy racer mode its even more fun.

i found theres only one point to remember, its that fast, that you can forget its a chunky car at over 1½ tons, its only when your half way round a bend at 70/80 mphand it starts to lean a bit, that your reminded that cornering atspeed is not one of the Calis plus points.

But thats part of the Calis attraction, although its almost a computer with wheels, you still get the feel that you are driving a car, not a computerised box like so many of todays 'jellymould' cars today.

But its gonna cost me money, cus the only way i'm gonna keep my wifes hands off of my Calis, is to buy her one

Finally, i've not spoken to a Cali owner in the UK yet, who regretted buying one, and would change it, unless it was for a newer or upspec model

this is my lil beastie

Glad you like you Caliber Steve
Other than our sunroof leaking (now fixed), it's been a good little car.
