the unit from dodge is not worth the money and instuctions are not even close to being right noy worth the 300 dollars so beware

The aftermarket units are not designed for the wiring harness and tend to be more of an issue than the factory units. Beware of anything that is not plug and play with the wiring harness of the vehicle.

It all depends. If you've noticed lately, it doesn't appear that quality from Dodge/Mopar seems to be up to snuff.

If installed CORRECTLY, you'll have no issues, except the dealer trying to use your NON-MOPAR remote start as a scape goat instead of fixing your vehicle.
