Default Big Problem

I have a 06 GC with 23000 on the OD. It is a VMI conversion with a drop floor and ramp for my son who is in a wheelchair. It failed to start on a trip to the store 2 weeks ago. Had it towed to the dealer where they diognosed it as a ecm and distribution box ( fuse box under the hood). Got it back and put about 50 miles on it and it died pulling into my driveway. Towed to dealer and again the distribution box. They cannot find a direct cause so the replaced that again. Service manager test drives it about 20 miles on entering the service drive it dies and again the same problem. The ramp part works even after it does't start so it has to be the dodge side of the vehicle. Has anyone had a similar problem ? This vehicle is a vital part of or life for transporting my son. PLEASE give me some input on this matter!!

I would have a tendancy to believe it is something on the output side of the fuse box. Otherwise it would loose the power without damaging the distribution box.
Is it taking out the whole box when it goes, or just part of it?
I know it sounds goofy, but I ask because you said they replaced the whole box again.
Maybe a wire got pinched and is shorting to ground.
Did you have any other work done under the hood lately?

They replaced the whole box3 timeswhich includesthe original one that came from the factory and the computer 1 time. The computer looses power when it take out the box so they are having a hard time finding the problem. The only work that was done by the same dealer was a steering rack about 1500 miles ago.I am having to rent a accessable van to transport my son for now. They do believe it is a loose or bare wire and are going to have to find the problem before a new box is installed. How longshould I have to wait for this to be resolved?

I do not know about the length of time it should take. I wish I could be more help to you on that.
It really would not surprise me for them to find the bare wire where they were working though. It can happen very easily. It sure sounds like that could be the problem.
I hope it gets done soon and good luck to you.
