Default Right indicators mal functioning

Hi Every one,

I have 96 3.8L grand caravan. While I am driving on short routs the indicators work fine. But when I go on long routs like 50 km or over...the left Indicator stops working. The dash board light lits once and then stays on. The outside right indicators don’t even flash. The funny thing is…..when I park and turn off the engine but and only turn on the ignition, the indicator works fins...so seems like only when engine is running and its over 40/50 kms..it starts malfunctioning..
Any help would be really appreciated..
Many thanks in advance.

Could have a bad Ignition switch, Ck for any wires rubbing onto the E/ Brake ratchet, and under the hood ck all wires under the throttle body,be sure none the wires are rubbing on the water pipe.
