picked up a new caravan yesterday, brought it home and while checking things out i noticed some surface rust spots on theexhaust systemand frame rails. normal? thanks

 

I wouldn't worry about the exhaust since I think it is a low grade stainless steel (409) which may show some surface rust but it won't go anywhere. However, the frame rails are an integral part of the body and should have been dipped and painted and shouldn't be showing any rust. Are you sure it's rust and not something else. Where do you live and how long did the van sit around? Also, was the van originally delivered to that dealer or did it come from another location such as Louisiana?
