Default 2001 Caravan window motor

I have removed the window motor from the door, but I can't figure out how to remove the regulator from the motor. Does anyone know how to remove the regulator from the motor?
thanks
John

They both come out together.

It *should* come out as one unit... If you're having problems with a window doing nothing from time
to time when you press up or down, you'll need to replace the entire unit. Most times the problem is
the cable system sticking somewhere...

Also, I've seen complete new units for sale on Ebay for a lot less money than the stealership wants
for them.

Hey all- new to the forum. I have a different problem, but I wanted to contribute first. I replaced the unit on my wife's 01 Grand Caravan about a year ago, it would intermittently get stuck when down. It all came out in one piece, completely connected, cables, rail, everything. It was made as a complete assembly type part. Kind of a waste to throw away/replace everythingwhen the motor goes bad...

Good luck!
Mark

Well, I,m not so sure--I think the motor can be disconnected from the regulator by removing the "front cover" and carefully diengaging the motor from the wire drive.
