Yes you can. You may want to do a flush using atf+4.

 

i need to change ou solder the pan and change the filter is it considered a flush or a flush will get more fluide out?

 

I would pull the pan and replace the filter and leave it at that. There is a lot of evidence that flushing (like the oil change places do) on older vehicles can cause more harm than good. I'm not sure that's what the previous reply recommended--you may want to flush it yourself and with some new fluid and drain it out.
