Has anyone ever had to replace on of these?
Mine appears to have had the seal go on it and the cover itself appears rusted.
Not a common thing to find.
Any suggestions?

 

very common failure. You'll have to bite the bullet and buy a replacement cover.

 

hehe its only RTV that seals the pan go grab a tube black and remove the pan clean off both sides and dont forget to fill it back up with ATF +4

 

The only time I have had to replace the side cover was because it was damage. I do the same repair as dodge tech when the cover is leaking. clean both sides of the cover and reseal with the black RTV silicone. And fill with atf+4.
