open the bleeder? for real? why? so you dont contaminate the abs pump? tell me how there is contamination in a sealed system unless there was a leak? or someone put the wrong stuff in oh man... i am a certified chrysler mechanic and this is the kind of stuff that drives me nuts. open the bleeder....

My understanding is that you don't have to bleed the brakes when you have ABS and want to change the pads. In a case you need to replace a caliper, then only bleed that wheel. When you do not have ABS, you need to bleed all wheels.

Just my 2 cents. Always done it like that, never had problems.....
