I can't believe I'm still dealing with this damn van. I replaced the fuel pump and filter still no start.

I still have the problem. I now have a service manual finaly. Currently I am monitoring the MAP sensore. I have rigged up a couple long leads to back prob terminals and run them into the cabin area. I then hook my meter to the leads for monitoring the sensore. No stall yet but I just hooked it up today.

Stalling is often related to the EGR valve, not closing properly, andallowing exhaust gas into the combustion chamber at idle. That is if you have an EGR valve. Some do, some don't.
Are you getting any codes showing up when you access the on-Board Diagnostic (OBD) using the ignition switch? If so, what are they or their numbers?
For ignition switch method and codes, take a look at this site: http://www.allpar.com/fix/80s-codes.html
Vacuum leak(s) is another common source of stalling / stumbling.

Not to be critical but truthful. You oviosly didn't read my first couple of posts. This is an intermitent problem and can stall at any time regardless of speed, engine load, engine temp, or weather conditions. Been in the shop for a few days as well and the techs are stumped as well. Most of the time the vehicle runs like a champ! But the intermitent stalls can be dangerouse in heavy traffic. Had many near mises.

Could be a couple of separate problems happening at overlapping times.
EGR valve can be intermittent problem and happen any time the engine is at low rpms. Dirt in the gas tank can be intermittent as well ... hit a bump and the dirt stirs up and blocks the filter. Let the dirt settle back down and the vehicle runs fine ..... untilnext time. I ran a car once for several months with this problem happening every two hours or two weeks or whenever.
Anyway, for what it's worth, when the diagnosis is elusive, fuel delivery or spark deliveryproblemshave to beverified or ruled out by the process of elimination, so says a Mechanic in a local paper here. That appears to be what you are doing.

Yep! My plan is to monitor each sensor one at a time till the stall shows it's ugly head and hopefully I will find the culprit. Would be a lot easier if I had a scan tool with freez frame data. When I was a tech for nissan that was always the way to go for intermitent stalls. Unfortunatly all I can do is monitor one at a time with a meter while driving. Even that is not the most reliable. I have considered the EGR problems but so far it dosn't seem to be. I replaced fuel filter a month ago, but as I expected no chang. Reason being is it shuts down as if the key was turned off, not a degrading performance and then finally stall. It truly seems to be a faulty sensor, wire or the PCM it self. PCM throws random codes and clears and resets new code with every stall. Stall conditions are famouse for throwing eroneose codes as well. So I am somwhat leaning to the PCM but that is too expensive to guess at.
