3.3L Timing Chain
Is there a timing chain tensioner on this engine? I have a 98 Plymouth Grand Voyager and was getting the P1391 code and finally tracked it down to a bad timing chain and found there was no tensioner on the chain. There is a good 1" to 1-1/2" of slop in the chain. The manual shows there is a tensioner. So is there supposed to be one or not?
