Hello everyone,

Newbie here trying to remove the proportioning valve from a 1997 dodge caravan...with no luck. The space is too tight. The gas tank is in the way of one of two mounting bolts. And the brake lines are stuck. Any tips?

 

I just loosen the straps..drop the tank down a couple of inches and you can worm a socket onto the bolt. Drop the valve down gently just enough for you to get line wrenches onto it. I use a vise grip to hold the valve.
