when i use the wipers on my 2000 grand caravan, they run fine on high and low, but will not work intermittently. also when turned off the blades stop where turned off and do not return to the bottom of the windshield. i have changed the multifunction switch with no results. can anyone help. thank you. jessie

 

It's time to start shopping for a new wiper motor. The park switch inside the motor is used to park the blades and also to let the intermittent circuit known when one swipe has completed. When the switch goes, the intermittent can't keep track of where it is and it turns off

i tryed replacing the motor still no help. the wipers did the same thing. does anyone have any other help. are there any relays that could cause this problem. thank you jess
