I am trying to replace my starter on my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8L. I have jacked up the van, taken of the 2 wires on the bottom, and took out the 2 bolts. However, when I went to pull it off, there is another wire on the top. What is that? How do I get that off?

 

There should only be the 2 wires on the solenoid. You might be catching the solenoid bolt on the fog-light or electric fan wire harness.
