Anyone else notice that the driver seat belt does not extend far? Seems to lock up early. Also looks like it is cathcing on something as it is fraid on one side.

2008 GC, SXT, 4.0L, 5200 miles.

 

Not a big repair. Bring it back to the dealer and have them put on a new seat belt. It might be binding on the cover in the seat or the panel on the 'b' post. Simple adjustment to fix it.

 

I had taken it in for this and other issues the second month I had it and the dealer said it was normal (just noticed wear now). I was in for the first oil change yesterday and they had an open van I looked at and noticed how different its belts were. I have some other issues to take it in for (MyGIG, VES, bumper, and door) and I'll just add this to the list.
