06 caravan front pads???

Default 06 caravan front pads???

ANyone know the secret to removing the caliper? The metal braket on the front pads are catching the caliper braket. 2006 grand caravan. thanks

Did you compress the piston in the caliper?

no i cant get it off the braket to get the old pads off.

- Loosen the cap for the brake fluid reservoir.
- Remove the two bolts (TRW system) or two pins (Teves system) holding the caliper to the bracket.
- Pry caliper away from bracket using a large screwdriver. Removing the lip of rust (tap with hammer) around the rotor may help.
If doing a lot of work yourself on your vehicle, the Haynes Manual would be a huge help at a very low price.

Forgot to mention in Post #4 that on the Teves system, to separate the caliper from the bracket, the anti rattle spring has to be removed as well.

Thanks for the help it turned out to be the antirattle clip. I thought it was part of the pads. Hynes manuel help out alot. thanks guys
