I have a 98 dodge caravan, when I run the A/C or defrost the A/C compressor stays on all the time. does anyone have any insite (already tried the A/C reprograme)

probably just a little low on freon. Have you checked pressures and compared them to the chart in the service manual. The chart is very handy for pressure diagnosis. The chart gives you all the variables for ambiant temps and humidity levels, which these conditions have a big part in how long the compressore needs to run. In very hot humid areas it might not turn off at all.
