Trying to maintain 70mph ascending a steep grade will be a workout for most vehicles out there. It also is a good way to destroy the drivetrain and brakes of many heavy vehicles. The engine will not die or anything from the high rpm's because of the rev limiter so let it wind up. Also why try to keep the van in overdrive climbing grades when it is recommended to use a lower gear to ascend/descend grades?

I'm not asking for overdrive on hills, in anything. Look, all I'm saying is that the 2.4 in anything but a Dodge Neon R/t Turbo is gutless. Oh and I dont think anywhere in any owners manual it says.."This van is recomended and designed for 2 adults and five kids...putting 6 adults in this van may cause you to achieve Sears Go-Kart speeds only." One of you guys said something to that effect in an earlier post. Thats funny. A kids only van. Hey guys I gotta go. Rebuttle all you want, I wont be checking back in to read it. So you guys can talk amongst yourselves about how much of an *** I was.

That's ok man, do what you want. I don't think they needed to write in the manual that it's not a 360 Ram van. They don't even have to write that it's a mommy mobile, because they didn't market it as anything different. There is even a makeup mirror on the driver's side.
