It should be in the tranny bell housing down below the egr valve. As you are standing looking down on the bell housing from the driver's side fender, it will be on your right hand side on the housing very close to the engine block. It is held on by one bolt and may be slightly stuck in the opening when you try to pull it up out of the opening after you remove the bolt.

The plastic may be very brittle from heat and snap when you try to take it out, so do not try to pry it, wiggle it loose instead.

I suggest you replace it instead of trying to reuse it, because they come with a paper dot on the end of it, which is the proper spacer for it. If you remove the spacer it will not register the signal properly! When you install the new one, as the tourque converter spins when you start the engine, it will automatically remove the spacer and you are back in business.

Hope this helps.

Be sure to put a little tranny fluid on the o-ring. You can obtain the tranny fluid from your dipstick...

Which sensor are you asking about? A speed sensor on a 3 speed transmission or the input and output sensor on a 4 speed transmission.

Here is how to tell which sensor is which. Sensor closes to the bell housing is always the input and the one towards the rear of trans is the output. Or left hand = input and right hand = output.
