Hey guys first time here. I usually dont work on Dodges but my FIancees friend needed a fuel pump in her van.. Ok well its a 00 caravan with the 3.0. I do have the tank lowered and ready to pull out only problem I am running into is that there is a line still connected and I cannot get it off it is connected to the filler neck tube for the vent. I have tried using my 5/8 fuel line disconnect tool and it wont budge is there a trick?

 

You don't need to remove the tank, just lower enought to remove the pump. and be sure to line it to the arrows on the tank.

 

Be careful installing the new pump, it's real easy to get the big o-ring seal at the top misaligned.
You will have a severe fuel leak when you fill it completely if it's out of place.
