Default New to Forum - 2006 Caravan questions...

Hi:

I'm new to the forum, I have a Caravan 2006 SXT and I want to see if the folowing modifications are possible:

1. What would be the most effective way to put an overhead DVD system? the factory one? and aftermarket one? I would like a "big" screen (11" if possible....), I do not want to spend thousands $$ but neither I want one flimsy/cheap one...

2. Can be the "overhead rail system" installed? (the one from the grand caravan) to support/install the DVD?

3. Fog Lights? any suggestions? could the Fog Lights from a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser be fitted into the holes in the front bumper? (they seem to be same oval shape...)

Thanks for any responses/comments

C

I have a good tv/dvd from my last vehicle, but it does not look like it will fit the van's roof well. I'm looking into getting the roof track & factory dvd. I am also looking into adding the roof track system to mine. No one seems to have an answer on this, but from what I can tell, Dodge does not offer this as an accessory. It can be fitted to your roof pretty easily, but you'll have to find one used. New is too much money.
<p>I got an 07 Town & country last month. It has the Mopar accessory fog kit. Its pricy(about $300), but they work very well. I don't think anything else would do the same job, without the van looking like it has something added to it.

11" monitor. Sounds more like a laptop.

Some orig units are for sale on e bay. Make sure you get both the player and the monitor.
But they are only 7". After market available too.

I've got a decent unit that straps to two seat backs.
But not the built in style. Wires everywhere. 2 - 9" screens though.

Fog lights are only rock collectors.

Good Luck,
Tom
