Hello everbody,
For a 2005 Dodge Caravan, 3.8L SXT.
The transmission does not change speed, it is just fixed on the 3rd speed only. The van is located overseas where there is no dodge dealer. A mechanic suspected the trans solenoid pack(TSP). Can the TSP cause such a problem? What usually damage the TSP?

Its hard to tell without any codes. Could the solenoid pack or input or output speed sensors. You need to get a scanner and find out what the codes are.
