Replace 2000 Grand caravan key assembly. Anyone ever attempt this. The keys nolonger turn the assembly. How difficult of a job is it and are there any specialty tools needed?

 

Standard hand tools are all that is necessary, but removal requires the lock to be turned to the 'on' position. Sometimes lubing the lock well and tapping the head of the key will allow the key to turn one more time. If this doesn't work, it's time for a locksmith as you will do expensive damage if you try to drill it out.
