my wife has a 2005 Caravan, I've noticed at times on the dash board that the "shift indicator" will not "circle" the gear the van is in. I'll get in it and start to shift to drive, but there is no "circle" around the gear, then it appears....has this happened to anyone else.

You may need to adjust the shifter cable.

 

had a 96 (just upgraded to an 06)...that used to do something similar...

would start it up and ALL the gear numbers and letters were circled... then when I would put in to drive or reverse, it would go normal, and just circle what ever gear it was in... never caused any problems other than that tho...
