Sliding door stuck closed!
As with last time, both my GCs have problems at the same time again!!
2000 GC. Opened the driver's side sliding door (manual) 2 mornings ago and it sounded a little squeaky. Needed a little extra effort to close it properly again.
But it's somehow stuck closed! Will not budge an inch! On the rear of the door, it looks to be a little recessed compared to how it would normally be.
The locking mechanism seems to work fine so I am thinking it must be something with the rear latch. Anyone else have had this problem? For all my net searching I have not found any references at all to something like this. How do I even get to the rear latch with the door closed?

We had this problem with a 97 Caravan years ago. Do a search for fuel fill door blocker latch. The mechanism that stops the slider from opening when the fuel door is open malfunctions and the slider won't open.
