I have a 2002 Dodge caravan that I need to remove and send Insturment cluster away for repair. Speedo doesn't work but cruise and odometer does. My question is if I unhook neg cable and remove cluster can I rehook with cluster out? May be 1-2weeks before I get cluster back and concerned that leaving bat. unhooked may effect computer. Don't want to have to take to shop to have idle relearned or anything else. Will not be driving without cluster.

 

Yes you can. You could also start the van up and move it too.
