I need to buy a new battery for my 01 Caravan tonight...I've never needed to buy one before.

What should I look for?

(I live in an area with cold winters...and like to camp, an crank the radio with the vehicle off.)

 

I've had very good luck with Costco batteries. Don't know who makes them though.
Buy the one with the highest Cold Cranking Amps that comes in your vans size.
Also see if the battery has it's reserve capacity rated. CCA tells you how much power the battery can put out. A higher reserve capacity means the battery will put out its rated CCA for a longer time.
