"no bus" indicator and rear dvd player issues! What's wrong??
So I'm sitting in the driveway, adding songs and pictures to the HDD on my 'new to me' 2008 Grand Caravan and out of the blue, a 'no bus' indicator comes over the odometer area. Turn the van on and off a couple of times and it goes away eventually. Go to pick up my wife from work, everything is working fine. On the way home this 'no bus' comes back on and everything is running fine, except the spedometer drops 20 kph (canadian model) and the turn signals work fine on the outside, but don't really work on the inside. To make matters more interesting, the rear dvd player isn't working, but all the audio features are working fine. Front screen works fine with the dvd and i've read through the manual a dozen times, followed all directions and still no video in the back. What's going on and how can I fix it?? I am taking the van back to the dealership i bought it from in the morning, but I wanted to know what i'm up against.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!
Took it to the dealer the next day, told em what happened...problems happened because wires connecting dvd player in the headliner were screwed up (frayed or unattached) and that resulted in the communication error (no bus). Now my kids can watch Dora and High School Musical!!! Hooray!!!
