alternator field wire plug replacement for 97gc 3.0L v6

Hi,

Does anyone have the info/experience to replace the alternator field wire plug for 97 3.0L v6 gc?

also where can one get the round plug?

The dealers have a web site for wiring kits, i would ck with them first or find a harness in the junk yard for cars/vans.
