98 caravan transmission interchangability
I have a 98 Caravan that I need a tramission for. It has the 3.8 with the A604 trans. Will any 604 out of other Chrysler products work (neon,cirrus, newyorker,ect.) Thanks
Any 3.3 or 3.8 transmission from 1996 1/2 thru 2007 wil work. but you may have to make some mods. TRS connector, flex plate, and if you are switch to an all wheel drive. You'll need to switch the ext housing.

Don't forget that there are different final drive ratios. if you use one with a different final drive ratio you may need to get the TCM program changed. This will effect your speedometer and shift points.
