Exclamation 2000 Dodge Caravan

I have a 2000 Dodge Caravan, V6, with an engine oil light problem. The oil light came on and stayed on, I had the oil changed and this problem continued. I noticed that when the vehicle is idling the light is on but when I accelerate it goes off. This tells me oil is not getting to the sending unit at idle. (old terminology). What could cause this? I was told it could be the cam bearings or worn enough to block the oil channels. I could really use some fresh ideas or input from someone that has had similiar problems. Thanks....

Default Dodge Caravan

I figured it out, it's the oil sending unit however I do need to know where the unit is located so I can replace it...I checked a manual at Advance and didn't find a reference to it...any help there would be much appreciated.
