Default A/C Problem

I have a 1997 grand caravan with a 3.3 engine. Recently the a/c has become intermittent. The first thing I did was check the refrigerant level and it's full. The air will blow good and cold sometimes for days and then it will blow warm air. After several hours or sometimes days it will blow cold air again. When blowing warm air I have looked at the compressor and the clutch is not turning. Could anyone tell me what the problem might be? Is there a way to test the compressor/clutch? Are there any other components (maybe electrical) that i would need to check? Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

It could be a couple things really. The biggest thing would be the compressor or clutch going bad, which happens, or it could be the pressure sensor. In order to keep the compressor from getting destroyed under a low pressure condition, there is a safety in place that will disengage the clutch so the compressor doesn't burn out.

Could you please tell me where the pressure sensor is located and is it possible to check it. If so, how do you test it? Thanks
