My 02 GC has about 100k miles. Often my transmission jerks when shifting from 1 to 2 gear. It does it more at really low speeds or when you hit the gas hard. You can almost keep it from doing it at the right "happy medium" accelaration rate. It doesn't have any other transmission issues like strange noises or not shifting.

Any ideas?

I have exactly the same in my just bought 2004 STX 3.8l. G.C. (80k miles) and would really like to find out
what this could be.

There is a TSB 21-018-07 for harsh 1/2 upshifts and 4/3 downshifts. Have the flash update done and have the trans flush with mopar ATF+4.
