Default P0700 and P0740

on a 2001 town & country, 3.8 all wheel drive.

the first is a trans control system malfunction and the 2nd code(0740) is tcc circuit malfunction- but what exactly do these codes mean? and the o2 sensor needs to be replaced, it said bank 1 sensor 1- does that mean the one BEFORE the catalytic converter? thanks

P0740 is a torque converter problem, First you need to ck the fluid. Is it pink or very dark? If it dark then, time for an overhaul, torque converter and pump and a kit with seals and clutches. Bank 1 and sensor 1 would the upsteam sensor. Sensor 2 would be downsteam.
