Default 2003 Caravan - only one high beam

I'm having a problem with my headlights. Both low beams work fine. When I switch on the high beams, the driver's side one comes on, but the passenger's side headlight goes out. The yellow signal lights stay on, just the passenger side headlight goes completely out. I tried replacing the bulb, but still the same problem with the new bulb. Any ideas?

Yes, Check wire harrness at lamp, try to trace where ground connection to chassis is, gotta be a bad ground, check the bulb socket itself. If you have a dvm, check to see what voltage you have on the pins at the socket for the low and high beam connection to ground. If when hi beam is on you have voltage at the socket for the high beam connection then it is for sur a bad ground connection.. good luck, Ted O.
