I have 06 Dodge Grand Carvan with 64K miles on it. Overheated last week and got the P0480 code off of it. Read a few forums and saw that the PCM might need reflashed, etc. I do a lot of my own work but thought I better take it to the dealer. $89.04 to troubleshoot, $350 for a radiator fan module, $62.00 to install. A $501.04 repair! This is the third repair I'll have to do to this vehicle. The other was replace an EGR valve and replace the sliding door wiring harness. I expect to be relatively problem free up to $100K miles. I'm becoming less and less a Dodge fan.

It's really a shame what happened to quality after the merger with Daimler. Just when they finally got all the bugs worked out of the early editions, Daimler takes them over and new bugs crop up all over the place.

 

Buckle up and sit tight . I have 05 Caravan and something comes up every day.
