Recently has been replaced the battery on my minivan. Since then the keyless entry stopped working. Tried to reset the memory by pooling off the IOD fuse didn't help. Reprogramming the remote unit didn't help either, even there was no chime, while pressing the Unlock and Panic (with 5 sec delay) buttons.
What else could be checked before going to dealership and spending 100$?
Did anybody has something similar?

 

No one had the same problem or been experienced with the Caravan's RKE issue?

 

Not trying to sound like a smart ***, do you have an owners manual? or google rke remote online? Your last op would be the dealer.

 

Yes, I do have owners manual, but not the service manual. Google gives bunch of rke programming methods. Non of them worked in my case. Dealer? I'll probably continue using the key. Had enough experience with stealerships

 

Do you know someone at the dealer that would program it for you?
