'01 DGC Sport - Headlight flicker
I have a 2001 DGC Sport with a mere 19,000 miles on it. As of the last few weeks we've noticed a flicker develop with the headlights. There seems to be no rhyme nor reason. Duration of activity varies, sometimes they're off and right back on, sometimes they're off for a few seconds. Not only is this annoying to me, but it's confusing and distracting to other drivers and let's not even mention the safety hazard.
My first thought was the fuse but low and behold Dodge does not have a fuse in the power block for headlights. I have fuses and relays for items I don't even have, but nothing for the headlights. My next thought is the switch. Is there a way to test the switch without taking it to the dealer and assuming the ankle-grab position? Also, if not the switch, what other things other than maybe the, dare I say it, body control module, might it be?
Thanks in advance for all the help!

My 2006 Caravan has done this but with the parking lights....Sitting having a smoke in the garage, van off and the parking lights just turn on by themselves....stay on for a few seconds then off..... Spent many hours at the shop trying to isolate it....no luck.
