Default 2000 Caravan window regulator install

Hi, I have a 2000 caravan that destroyed it's window regulator (driver's front). I ordered one online for a good price (about $60). After receiving it I was dismayed to see "made in China" on the box. Before installing, I gave it a once over and it appeared that one of the rails was installed backwards and upside down. So I disconnected the cables and turned it around the right way. After installing the unit and trying to power the window up and down. The cable torqued it's way out of it's housing and put a couple of bad kinks in it turning the unit into a piece of junk.
I have since ordered an OEM unit (at more than double the cost) and would like to get some tips before attempting another install. I'm not 100% sure I did the right thing with the last unit possibly contributing to its destruction. If anybody has access to any diagrams that would be really helpful.
Thanks

sure, take the door panel off the pass side and you have an exact mirror image of how to do the driver side

I just installed the new OEM regulator today. It went in easily in about 1/2 hour. The junk chinese replacement I tried before went into the trash where it belongs. Thanks for the help guys.
