Default 2002 Caravan electrical problem

2002 Caravan on start-up, the electric windows, blower fan and wipers will not operate. Sometimes they work after a few minutes, other times not. I have checked the grounding stud in the passenger side column. No corrosion.

Have you check for codes in the front control module? Thats also your BCM ( body control module).

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check this weekend.
Amazing how often we forget the simple things...

Four codes were given: P1684 (battery disconnected) and P0442, P0455 and P0456 (leak detected). The battery was disconnected some time ago, when I cleaned the terminals. The electrical problem has been occurring since well before that.
Thanks for any additional suggestions.

More details on the problem: when the key is at the ACC or ON position (van not started) they work fine. Only when the van is actually started, do they not work. All lights, turn signals, etc. work all the time. Also the heater vent controls seem to work all the time, even when the blower will not.

Hi There, We are experiencing the exact same issue with our '01 Caravan and would like to know if you were ever able to resolve. []

I have an 02 also and had the same issue with the windows, fan, wipers... but mine also included the radio. Mechanic replaced BCM and all is now working.

I had neglected to include the radio. It also would not work when the problem was present.
I replaced the battery (even though it was only marginally weak), and the problem frequency of ocurance is significantly reduced.

Look like val0214 had the FCM/BCM replaced and it may have fix it. Send him/her a pm and ask if that fix the problem.
