Newb here with problem, the air bag light in my 05 Caravan has been on for past few days. A couple of times it went out but quickly came back on. Took it to local shop who could only tell me to take it the dealer (after charging me $90 to " diagnose it" )! Work order states Passenger squib # 2 CRT open, can somebody please give me some pointers on what I can look for myself? Don't think its clockspring as cruise and horn still work fine.

Pass squib #2 is not the clockspring, The code is for the other air bag module. Lower the glove box door and look for a yellow connector near the radio. Ck the connector to see if it is unplugged. If its plug in, then unplug it and plug it back together. If the light stays on after that, you may need to go to a dealer or a shop that can fix the problem.

master tech-just wanted to post back with results. After little searching the only yellow plugs I found were inside lower panel almost where passenger's left foot would normally be,. Two plugs side by side, I wiggled both to make sure they were snug and guess what? No air bag light!! Thanks so much for the tip.
