Default Need new tires

The main dealer quoted me $600 for 4 new Goodyear tires. I asked him what else he had and he said he could do Uniroyals with a 70k warranty for around $480 installed. These come with free lifetime rotation which is wort $15 a time and I intend to keep the van for a few more years. The original fit Yokohamas are just about finished. Has anyone experienced any ride issues with Uniroyals?

Thanks again peeps - and HNY

I have Uniroyal tigerpaws touring tires on my GC and it rides great. The price sounds about right too.

Have you checked out the tirerack site? They have all sorts of info there. And no, I don't have any vested interest in referring anyone there.

Call me stupid, but the only thing I don't understand about the tirerack site, is who fits and balances the tires you buy there? Do you just run them in to your local firestone or what?

If you buy rims and tires from them they'll mount and balance them before shipment. Besides, what's the difference in WHERE you get the tires from? I mean when you walk into a shop asking them to be mounted do you really expect them to ask where you got them from? They already know you didn't buy them from their shop. You is silly.

Someone needs to improve their reading comprehension skills. Let's recap:

Gee, it was only stated in the very first sentence of my reply. Sorry for not being clearer. Sheesh.

I can see why 92dak5.24x4 has an attitude. Insulting others for your own stupidity is not going to get you far in this life, youngster.
