Our 96 grand caravan is having so many problems and i usually end up breaking more than I fix, but i need to know what the part between the front end of the driveshaft and the transfer case is.. it has a gear in it that goes into the transfer case but the flange type part is removable.. i broke that and i need to know what it is called so i can get a new one

 

Are you talking about the pinion shaft.

sry was gonna get a pic up but our internets out, im at the library and my sister stole our camera... lol not that matters to anyone on here haha but yea its like the flange kinda thing on the pinon shaft.. its the part on the outside that you can move.. oh. its the part with the bolt holes on it just wanna know where i can get a new one

 

I agree, without a picture, this post makes no sense. and after over 2 weeks you still don't have it fixed? Seems like it would have been money well spent to have a professional do this job
