I got stranded at the store today b/c my key went bad. The dealer wants $155 for another key and another $40 to program it but they said they would waive the programming fee for me.

Right now I'm using my spare but I saw that you can buy the same key off the internet for only $89. So is there a way to buy a programmer also or somehow program it myself?

 

Do you know if the dealer has done the H30 recall? Thats were they replace both keys for free.

 

They didn't mention any recall. Where would I go to see if there is a recall on my van?

The dealer, you'll need ask them if your van has any recall's. Or you can call the chrysler customer service center and ask them as well. 1-800-992-1997 .
