Default Recirculation Control Problem

Hi Gang!

new kid on the block here with a Grand Caravan (year 2000) problem...

lately I am getting quite a lot of windows fogging on the inside (even if only the driver in the car) as if the air is never fresh coming in from the outside.
Checked the vents in the front, they are clean, etc.

I am suspecting the recirculation flap for some reason being stuck, thus fresh dry air never enters the car and fogging occurs (the recirculation button is not on).
I have to get the defrost going every 5 minutes of driving or so, to defog the windshield so I can see where I'm driving.

Anyone has any words of wisdom on this issue? It would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks a lot!

Cheers,
gabstero

The problem could be with the recirculator door or actuator. You may need to pull codes or ck the actuator by remove it and see if rotates.

MT -

Thanks a ton for the tips! That did it - i just had to remove the three screws and push the button while doing it - the door was stuck. Popped it back in - worked like a charm!

Thanks a ton again!
